Emerlane is an Australian boutique specialising in womenswear. We carry a small, carefully picked range rather than an endless catalogue, and every piece is chosen because we would wear it ourselves.
Why we started
Good everyday clothing is surprisingly hard to buy online in Australia. The big sites carry thousands of listings that all look the same, and everything else means ordering blind from overseas, guessing at the sizing, and hoping the piece that arrives looks anything like the photograph.
We thought there was room for something simpler: a shop that does one thing, stocks it properly, and tells you honestly how it fits.
What we sell
Womenswear, and nothing else. Pieces made for everyday wear rather than for one occasion, in colours that work together instead of fighting each other.
We keep the range deliberately small. Every piece on the site has earned its place, and if a style doesn't hold up we stop selling it rather than leaving it in the catalogue to pad out the numbers.

To make well-made womenswear straightforward to buy in Australia — clear sizing guidance on every product page, honest photographs, prices in AUD with no surprises at checkout, and someone at the other end of an email who actually knows how each piece falls.

How we work
We are a small independent team. There is no call centre and no script — the person answering your email is the same person choosing the stock.
Every order ships with tracked delivery and comes with a 30-day return window. If the fit isn't right, send it back and we'll sort it out.
